The Applicant visits the customer care desk in any of OMWASCO Office in Othaya or Mukurweini.
(The front offices staff and other officers will be available to guide the applicants on the new water connection process)
The applicants will be required to provide a copy of the following documents during the office visit:
A Copy of Proof of land ownership (Title Deed)
A Copy of National ID
A Copy of KRA Pin
Upon verification that no other connections are associated with the applicant,
the officer schedules a new connection survey to be conducted by a field technician.
Upon confirming the feasibility of the connection and verifying that the customer has procured the required fittings,
the field technician approves the survey and issues a signed Fittings Inspection Form, which must be presented at the office during payment.
Payments of new connection charges will be as per the Approved Tariff.
Following approval, the connection will be effected and the water meter installed within three (3) days of the applicant’s completion of payment.
The customer will receive their initial bill within one (1) month from the date of connection.
